Best Experience Ever

My best experience ever was during softball season my senior year in high school. It was my last softball game ever with that team. We were playing Magnolia West and we wanted nothing more than to beat them. We all lined up on the foul lines as our names were being called out. We bowed our heads as the star spangle banner played. Afterwards the umpire yelled out, "Lets Play Ball!!" and the game began. We took the field first and held them from scoring. We went into bat and we did not score either. Both my team and Magnolia West were fighting hard to keep the each other from scoring. Finally, we scored three runs, we were up three to zero. They scored three on us the next time they went into bat. We were going back and forth scoring one after another. In the seventh inning it was six to six, we had to play another inning. We ended up playing to the thirteenth inning tied seven to seven. Magnolia West was up to bat and they scored but, we still had a chance to score and win the game. I was up to bat, i looked at my coach and she said, "I wouldn't want anyone else in this spot". There was two outs and a runner on third base. The pitcher pitched me an outside pitch and i hit the ball. I started to run as fast as i could. I made it to first base and seen then ball in the air and was still moving fast. I got to second base and the ball was over the fence. My team came out as i was running to home. We had won the game, everyone was cheering and crying. We lined up and shook hands with the other team. After the game my coach walked up to me and said, " I told you it was possible to hit a home run left handed". I just laughed and said, "You were right". She hugged me and said, "Good game kiddo.". My last game my senior year was by far my best experience ever and i will never forget that night.
